About Us
Vitality Mobile Wound Care is an APRN-led mobile wound care practice headquartered in Tyler, Texas, serving patients and facility partners throughout East Texas and beyond — in the home, in skilled nursing and assisted living communities, in group homes, and through telehealth.
Founded by Chris Ethridge, a United States Marine Corps disabled veteran, VMWC was built on a simple conviction: that the patients who need wound care most are often the hardest to reach — the bed-bound, the post-surgical, the neuropathic, the residents of facilities without an in-house wound specialist — and that they deserve the same standard of care a hospital outpatient clinic would deliver, brought to them at the bedside.
Our APRNs lead every advanced visit — evaluation and management, sharp and selective debridement, advanced modality selection, and individualized plans of care — supported by RN follow-up visits and a clinical infrastructure built around evidence-based protocols including UltraMIST low-frequency ultrasound, cellular and tissue-based products, negative pressure wound therapy, and modern dressing technologies.
We are credentialed with Novitas Medicare (Texas), Texas Medicaid, and the major commercial and Medicare Advantage payors serving our region. Every encounter is documented to CMS standards and coded under time-based guidelines so facilities, families, and referring physicians can trust the clinical record — and so patients get the unhurried, attentive visits their wounds actually require.
